8. Another piece about antisemitism but this time as it related to the reception of Stanley Kubrick’s legendary horror movie, The Shining, which marked its fortieth anniversar this year. Read Nathan Abrams’ piece here.
7. We are very proud of this piece in which ten-year-old Momo Skinazi recreated the beautiful cathedral synagogue of Birmingham Hebrew Congregation … in Minecraft. Take a tour here! Momo is still our youngest contributor and we welcome more.

5. We are also very proud of the creative collaborations that are emerging out of JewTh!nk and also of showcasing new art. Here Miki Shaw, an artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in London, reflects on parenthood during lockdown.

3. In third place, in exploring Unorthodox, Rachel Harris argued how the problem with Orthodox Jewish women in popular cultural representations lies with audience desires for shlock and salvation, not with Haredi society. Read her full piece here.
